Capt Waseem Uddin Razi Shaheed Library is one of the prime institutions of Defence Housing Authority Karachi. It was established on 3rd November 1991. CWRSL has a beautifully designed and artistically decorated building with lush green lawns, fountains and rockeries all around it. Like any modern library, CWRSL has a computerized book inventory, modern and speedy Internet facilities, exclusive newspapers & periodicals section, access to digital library of HEC, state-of-art audio visual facilities and a unique Children's Library fully equipped with modern facilities. CWRSL website is periodically updated to provide library information services to the visitors. A detailed account of CWRSL book inventory, facilities, list of new books, newspaper/periodicals, language programs, auditorium activities as well as rentals can also be seen on the CWRSL's website. Members can also check their fee and status of books issued to them on the website.
